Developed by The Wiggles in conjunction with early childhood educators, Wiggle and Learn – Resources for Early Childhood draws from current practice and contemporary thinking in early childhood learning, and makes reference to the Early Years Learning Framework. As young children learn best when their curiosity is sparked, it recognises the importance of play based learning in enabling young children to reach their full potential
The three developmental areas which provide the framework for the programme are physical development, cognitive (or intellectual/language) development and social/emotional development, which are all based on the principles of current early childhood learning.
